Dr. Ludo Brunel

Naturopathic Doctor

Dr. Ludovic Brunel graduated with a degree in Human Nutrition from McGill University in Montreal and pursued his studies in Naturopathic Medicine at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto.

Ludo is an exceptional naturopathic doctor with strong clinical skills grounded in scientific knowledge. Having spent years working as a researcher and writer, his knowledge of dietary supplements and their use in health and disease allows him to bring a unique perspective and provide leadership in his field.

He has successfully published a number of articles addressed to varied audiences, from patients and dietary supplement users to physicians and retailers.

Courtney Culham, NP

Nurse Practitioner

Courtney Culham graduated from the University of Calgary in 2011 with a Masters Degree in Nursing and Post Master Diploma Certification of Nurse Practitioner. She has worked in health care in a variety of areas for over 20 years. Her areas of specialty include primary care with particular interest in mental health, addictions and evidenced based complimentary medicine.

When Courtney is not working she enjoys hosting get-togethers with family and friends as well as venturing out to mountains for camping adventures.

Dr. Liane Erickson

Naturopathic Doctor

Dr. Liane graduated from Trent University with an Honors BA in International Development. She spent her third year of that degree living in Ecuador working with indigenous women and writing a book on medicinal plants of the area. Dr. Liane then returned to Canada to pursue medical training that could be used abroad.

She received her naturopathic medical degree from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM). She received advanced training in homeopathy, Bowen therapy and was formally trained as a doula. While at CCNM, Dr. Liane organized a group of students and doctors to travel to rural Nepal and set up mobile medical clinics providing primary medicine to local villages.

Since graduating, Dr. Liane has provided pediatric and women’s healthcare to various communities in the Yukon, Alaska, Mexico and, since 2011, in Calgary. She is one of the founding members of the Pediatric Association of Naturopathic Physicians (PedANP) and has served three terms on the board. Dr. Liane has worked extensively in integrative medical settings, working with MDs and other NDs to optimize her patient’s health.

Dr. Liane openly welcomes families in her practice, as she has a special focus on reproductive health and pediatrics. She offers well-child exams, from birth to adolescence, and provides acute care in all areas of pediatric medicine. Her advanced training in intravenous vitamin therapy and environmental medicine is used with women to optimize fertility.

Dr. Lisa Kopp

Naturopathic Doctor

Dr. Lisa Kopp, ND is a naturopathic doctor with the Pure North S’Energy Foundation. She appreciates the importance of balancing therapies from both conventional and naturopathic medicine when creating a treatment plan to help heal her patients. She believes to properly assess a patient’s current state of health, it is important to interpret the body’s symptoms in combination with the information received through lab work and other diagnostic techniques.

Dr. Lisa was drawn to naturopathic medicine first as a patient and has always appreciated the diverse healing modalities available to promote health. She enjoys the opportunity to educate her patients during each visit to empower them to be more engaged in their lives.

Dr. Lisa has been trained as a primary care doctor and is a graduate of the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM), the oldest accredited naturopathic university located in Portland, Oregon.  She has medical licenses in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Oregon and is a member of the CNDA and CAND. In her spare time she enjoys travelling, being a mom to her young children and spending time with her family and friends.

Dr. Nina Lewis

Naturopathic Doctor

Dr. Nina Lewis has a passion for supporting people going through cancer and other chronic diseases. Specifically, she has had great success helping reduce the side effects of chemotherapy and radiation while helping increase the efficacy of conventional cancer treatment.

Chronic disease such as Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis and Alzheimer’s, hormone imbalances such as menopause, PMS or infertility and gastro-intestinal complaints such as GERD (reflux), IBS, Crohn’s, and colitis are other areas Dr. Lewis has had success supporting.

She loves utilizing nutrition, botanical medicine, supplements and IV therapies to help improve patient’s health.

Jessica Reid, RN MN:ANP NP

Jessica Reid, RN, MN:ANP, NP, is a graduate of Memorial University with a Masters of Nursing in Advanced Nursing Practice. She has been working as a Registered Nurse since 2006 in Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, and New Brunswick, and upon completing her Master’s in Advanced Nursing Practice Program in 2013, Reid has worked in Nunavut and Calgary. She is currently working towards her certification in Integrative Medicine through the Institute of Functional Medicine, Washington, USA.

She is dedicated to working with vulnerable populations and providing care to communities in need. She enjoys the challenge of fulfilling many roles, and specializes in the assessment of adults, women, children, and infants. Reid has well-rounded experience working in acute care, emergency, home based nursing, northern nursing, and preventative health.

In her practice, she strives to inspire patients to take proactive responsibility for their own health to prevent and control chronic diseases using an integrative medicine approach.

Deanna Sykes, NP

Nurse Practitioner

Deanna is a Nurse Practitioner with specialized training in family medicine. Currently, she is being certified in Functional Medicine with an anticipated completion date early in 2018. Functional Medicine looks at the root causes of disease at a cellular level and addresses problem issues through a natural approach as much as possible. Addressing mind, body, and spirit are the focus of her holistic approach. She also assesses and treats hormone deficiencies. She also has a Masters Degree in Disaster and Emergency Management with a focus on health care planning and medical response. She has worked in medical relief missions with a combined focus of of addressing poverty in developing nations.

Previously, she has also worked in emergency medicine, surgery and recovery, and in outpost communities of Alberta and Manitoba.

 

Kathy Tissington, MN:NP

Nurse Practitioner

Kathy Tissington, MN:NP, is a graduate of Athabasca University with a Masters in Advanced Nursing Practice. Kathy has been working as a Registered Nurse (RN) since 2000 in Alberta. As an RN she practiced in emergency, postpartum care, community health, teaching and research. She completed her Advanced Studies in Critical Care Nursing in 2003. Since completing her Master’s Program in 2010, she has worked as a Nurse Practitioner in primary care both in Calgary and Okotoks. She has treated all ages from pregnant women and babies to Geriatrics with her time spent doing consult work with Alberta Health in Supportive Living buildings for seniors.

Kathy became a Nurse Practitioner after years of working in the emergency department and wanting to focus on prevention instead of acute care focused treatment. Kathy enjoys using lifestyle approaches to improve health and wellbeing of her patients.

Kathy is an affiliated with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta, and the Nurse Practitioner Association of Alberta.

Dr Tim Warwick

Naturopathic Doctor

Dr. Tim Warwick graduated from the University of Alberta with a double major in biological and physical sciences.  Inspired to improve the health of others, he continued his education at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine.

Tim utilizes an evidence-based and integrative medical approach, which helps support effective clinical decisions with his patients.  Making sense of complicated and seemingly unrelated health concerns is his passion.

He has worked with a wide variety of patients with an even wider variety of health concerns.
