NAC & ALA Combo

N-acetyl-L-cysteine, also known as NAC, and alpha lipoic acid, or ALA, have direct antioxidant action, and enhance the production of glutathione. (1 tablet per packet).

NAC & ALA has been shown to:
• Protect against metabolic syndrome and diabetes.
• Protect against oxidative stress.
• Promote healthy cellular function and detoxification.
• Improve blood sugar metabolism and increase energy production.
• Helps to promote excretion of mercury from the body.
• Helps thin mucous.

Contains no artificial colours, preservatives, or sweeteners; no dairy, starch, sugar, wheat, gluten, yeast, soy, corn, egg, fish, shellfish, salt, tree nuts, or GMOs.

Non-medicinal Ingredients: Microcrystalline cellulose, dibasic calcium phosphate dihydrate, stearic acid, vegetable grade magnesium stearate (lubricant), coating (carbohydrate gum [cellulose], glycerin), silica, croscarmellose sodium.

Minimum Recommended Dose:
1 tablet per day.

Precautions:

Consult your health care professional if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
If you have kidney stones, please consult with your health care provider before starting.
People with cystinuria, a kidney condition in which too much cysteine is lost in the urine, should not be taking this supplement.
If you are using nitroglycerin, isosorbide, carbamazepine, insulin or oral hypoglycemic (eg. Metformin), please consult with your health care provider before taking.
NAC/ALA should be taken with food and 1 hour apart from any medications.
